OUR FACILITY

Outpatient, or office surgery, provides a safer and in many cases, less costly, alternative to inpatient hospital surgery. It can also improve efficiency in the delivery of medical care with increased convenience and privacy. Additionally, it provides you with care by people with whom you are familiar, and who know you and your needs well.

The Plastic Surgery Suite in our office combines the medical capabilities and expertise of in-hospital surgery with the convenience of an outpatient unit. The result is a streamlining of surgical services and a reduction in cost to you, the patient.

Dr. Strausser’s fee for cosmetic surgery performed in our facility includes the costs associated with the use of our office surgical suite and anesthesia. There are no additional costs to you for these services.

Aesthetic and Cosmetic Surgery of Sarasota, our in-office Plastic Surgery Suite, has up-to-date equipment and is staffed by trained professionals under Dr. Strausser’s direction. Our unit consists of fully equipped operating and preparation rooms with the capabilities of handling multiple surgical procedures daily, and all emergencies. It is one of the few certified and approved by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAAASF), having achieved this certification in 1989.

Surgery performed in our office surgical suite is done with the same care and quality as that performed in the hospital. Our ability to perform your surgery in the office will depend on the particular procedure you will be having, as well as your own health, medical history and desires. The primary concern is for your health and well-being, and, of course, in cosmetic cases – the maximum improvement possible in your appearance.
