Bringing more than 30 years of surgical training and experience into his Sarasota practice, Dr. John Strausser is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He understands that choosing to have cosmetic surgery is a highly personal decision – one that should be made with great care and consideration.

With this in mind, he has created an office where individualized attention and communication combine to provide the very best environment for cosmetic surgery. As Dr. Strausser explains, "Honest communication with our patients is the key to realistic expectations and ultimate satisfaction."

Alongside Dr. Strausser, his staff offers each patient a high level of personal care, attention and service. As a team, they offer education and information on the many aesthetic surgery options available, and guide patients to the procedures that are truly right for them. In general, a patient will spend about an hour speaking directly with Dr. Strausser at the time of their first appointment.

Dr. Strausser and his staff treat a wide spectrum of patients, male and female, young and not so young, and are dedicated to providing safe and comfortable surgical experiences for each and every one of them. His in-office surgical facility, Aesthetic and Cosmetic Surgery of Sarasota, is one of the select facilities certified by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAAASF), the premier certifying agency for plastic surgeons.

Dr. Strausser’s practice specializes in aesthetic and cosmetic surgery, which includes facelifts, eyelid surgery, nasal surgery, ear surgery, liposuction, breast enlargements, lifts and reductions, and tummy tucks, among others. Other elective surgeries may range from the removal of simple moles and cysts to skin cancers. Reconstructive surgery may involve the restoration of damaged tissues with the use of skin grafts, tissue flaps, and the use of synthetic implants. Laser surgery may also be used in appropriate cases.
